The Mik is a timeless and simple design, hand crafted by a sole craftsman. William Irven uses the best leather europe has to offer, solid brass hardware from England, and traditional saddler’s techniques; hand stitched with awl and thread. It is made from Italian Minerva Box leather, whose soft Vachetta feel and pebbled texture make it one of the most sought after leathers.
This unique LPO Edit, made for the Gala, includes pink highlights with debossed LPO detail.
Comes with a detachable and adjustable, crossbody strap.
Dimensions/cm: H - 15.5 W - 22 D - 6 Handle Drop - 6.5
Terms and conditions:
To protect your bag over the years, it is recommended to condition the leather every now and then, especially after it has had prolonged exposure to the rain which will dry out the leather. If you get your bag dirty, brush or wipe clean with a damp cloth and leave to dry naturally. Avoid using soaps as these will dry out the leather.
Your bag is made from a natural material that both has unique characteristics now, and will age and patina over time, making it all the more yours.
In the unlikely event that your bag breaks in some way, please contact William Irven to discuss sustainable repair.

Over the past couple of years, Caroline Tate has painted over 300 paintings – some vibrantly abstract, many of very colourful trees.
As the sky becomes illuminated by a dazzling sunset, the strong silhouette of a tree casts a shadow across rich green grass. The graceful branches seem to stretch up in harmony like dancers’ arms. It is a tranquil painting – a radiant tree which is passing on such calm.

Albert Goodwin, R.W.S. (1845-1932)
‘Autumn’
signed ‘Albert Goodwin’ and inscribed ‘Autumn’
pencil, black chalk and watercolour heightened with white
9 ½ x 13 ¼ in. (24.2 x 33.8 cm)
Albert Goodwin (1845-1932) was one of nine children of a Maidstone builder, and his artistic talents did not go unnoticed. His apprenticeship to a draper was curtailed and he went to study with the Pre-Raphaelite painters Arthur Hughes and Ford Madox Brown before accompanying Ruskin, in 1872, on a three-month tour of Switzerland and Italy. Ruskin urged him, no doubt, to absorb the lessons of Turner when observing the variety of landscape. Goodwin seems to have responded with a rare synthesis of styles, combining the mystery and mistiness of Turner with the exactitude of the Pre-Raphaelite, with an engagement of light and colour at sunset and dawn that, at times, would not have shamed John Martin and is recognisable instantly from his use of pen-line with the coloured wash of watercolour.
Goodwin travelled extensively, not only within the British Isles but overseas as well, to the Continent, to Egypt (1876), to India (1895) to North America and the West Indies (1902, 1912) and even to New Zealand during the Great War. He participated in exhibitions at the Royal Academy (his first picture accepted at 15 years of age) and the Royal Watercolour Society with frequent shows elsewhere.
His pictures are to be found in all the major museums and galleries in the United Kingdom.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
