We aim to arrive in time to allow for guests to explore the splendid and historic town of Windsor is a short cruise from Runnymede through Old Windsor. Choose a weekend or week's stay in this rustic, Spanish farmhouse only an hour’s drive west of Alicante airport (approx 50 kms). The recently renovated 200 year old farmhouse rurally situated amid vineyards, is an ideal 'getaway' break.
The farmhouse, part of a farm complex, sleeps at least 6 persons (max 12 with a lot of bed sharing and floor space!). It has 2 shower rooms and a bath. The courtyard, to the back is overlooked by a sun terrace, that has stunning views of the valley. There are two bedrooms with double beds and two lounge-cum-bedrooms with sofa-beds that can be moved easily to arrange to suit yourselves.
There is plenty of room for parking, at the front of the house and to the side. The small town of La Romana, just 7kms away, has most shopping facilities with a Saturday morning market. By continuing up the A31 motorway to Elda (junction 202 for central Elda) there is a Carrefour hypermarket. Wine supplies can be obtained locally in El Manyar on the road to Pinoso at two separate bodegas.
Local places of interest include the towns of Monovar, Pinoso, Jumilla, Yecla and the Spa baths at Fortuna. Further afield are the waterfalls at Fonts de L’Algar, castles at Alicante and Guadalest (which also has a museum and craft shops). The stunning city of Valencia is also well worth a visit.

Felicity is a pet portrait and wildlife artist, who works from a studio at her home in Somerset. Felicity is offering a 30 x 40cm single subject pet portrait (without a background). Felicity will work from photographs provided by the winner.

Established in 2020, Felicity has created a business not only representing the look of a pet, but really bringing their personalities to life through her portraits. Working in soft pastels, Felicity uses a wide array of colours to capture all the little details of every pet she draws, making her work both vibrant and realistic.

Felicity draws predominantly dogs, being very much a dog lover (and owning a black Labrador), but is comfortable drawing all animals, having completed commissions of a wide assortment of animals (from rats to horses!). Felicity also draws original wildlife work, with a current focus on highlighting red list threatened species (her most recent artwork, entitled ‘Will You Remember Me?’ was drawn to bring more attention to the Amur Leopard).

Felicity has always been keen to help out charitable causes. She started out as charity prefect at school and then joined the charity committee in her previous life in Marketing, before launching Felicity Franks Portraits. Since which time she has given away several portraits in aid of charity. So, when asked whether she would be happy to help with this auction, she was more than happy to do so.

Inspired by Mondrian, Phil Hill’s abstract paintings are characterised by strong colour in a unique style. Working from his studio in the Purbeck Hills near Corfe Castle, his abstracts are by turns happy, tender and melancholic, where rules and limits give way to freedom and change.

The Three Graces are three sections, denoting Past, Present and Future, with the blue depicting past difficulty, the pink depicting coming to terms with the past, and the sunny yellow depicting better times ahead.
