* Anne is offering a named character in the final Hannah Weybridge story for her successful bidder*
Title: Murder in the Lady Chapel
Genre: Crime Thriller - Mystery
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
“All that is now hidden will some day come to light. If you have ears, listen! And be sure to put into practice what you hear.” Mark 4, verse 22
A chorister is found dying in the Lady Chapel when the Reverend Peter Savage is about to begin morning prayers. It’s a suspicious death and no one seems to know much about the victim. The vicar implores Hannah Weybridge to find out what she can.
Little did the journalist know that this investigation would have her joining the choir in preparation for the Christmas services or that her daughter, Elizabeth, would be so enchanted by the church.
Hannah soon discovers that the deceased, Daniel Lyons, seems to be a man without a history and that’s suspicious in itself. Apparently, an insurance fraud investigator, he leaves no records: even his landlady knows little about him.
But, as Hannah discovers, someone does know him – and he was definitely not who he seemed to be…
And while she investigates, someone is trying to intimidate Hannah in a series of seemingly unconnected ways. The past as well as the present haunts her. Will she be able to solve the mystery before Christmas is ruined?
The Author:
As I am writing the seventh and final book I realise how fortunate I am to be doing something I love. Authors often go through periods when they feel like giving up but the thought of not writing spurs them on. Writing and creating Hannah Weybridge's world in 1990s London has been a fabulous experience for me especially when characters, who have become my imaginary friends, take me on so many unexpected journeys. And then there are those precious moments when a reader tells you how much they enjoyed your last book or a friend says how much they are looking forward to your next book and any doubts evaporate – for the time being!
Writing short stories was my way into fiction and I had those published in major women's magazines as I continued as a freelance journalist, working on national newspapers, magazines and in-house publications, as as an editor for Reader's Digest abridging fiction and narrative non-fiction. My journalism and editing have both inspired ideas for for my crime thrillers as well as my seven non-fiction books with various publishers.
I live in SE London where I sing in a church choir and am a trustee for the Dulwich Festival. I enjoy theatre and cinema and socialising with family and friends

Title 1: Perfect Lie
Genre: Crime Thriller
Format: Paperbacks
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book
What is ‘perfect’ trying to hide?
Jen Garner tries her best to be ‘wife and mother of the year’. She helps organise school plays and accompanies her husband to company dinners, all with a big smile on her face.
But Jen has started to receive strange gifts in the post ... first flowers, then a sympathy card. It could just be a joke; that’s what she tells herself. But then the final ‘gift’ arrives, and Jen has to question why somebody is so intent on shattering her life into pieces ...
The Author:
Claire lives in Nottingham with her family, and a dog called Podrick.
Claire suffers from Multiple Sclerosis but that doesn’t stop her writing, releasing her Perfect Lie in 2020 with A Silent Child and A Burning Lie later following.
When Claire isn't working, she enjoys reading crime novels and listening to music - the band Jimmy Eat World is her biggest muse! But she’s really Swiftie at heart.
The inspiration for her novels comes from the hours spent watching The Bill with her grandparents and auntie; then later, Spooks and other detective programmes like Morse, A Touch of Frost and Midsummer Murders.

Title: Goodnight, God Bless
Genre: Crime Thriller
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
DI Alex Peachey is drawn into a bizarre case. The mutilated body of a man is found in a disused aircraft hangar, and the killer has left a calling card. At the same time, abuse survivor Jean Harrison receives a card through the post, bearing the words ‘Goodnight, God Bless’.
Alison Munroe runs a therapy group helping women who were abused as children to work through their experiences and fears. When former member Jean comes to her for support, Alison finds herself caught up in the middle of a murder inquiry when she realises that the killer is targeting the former abusers of her group members, murdering them in ways that are specific to each of the women’s experiences - experiences that have only ever been disclosed in the group’s sessions.
Alex and his team have to tread carefully to find out not only who is torturing and killing the paedophiles, but also to protect the anonymity of the group. How is the killer getting their information? When one of Alex’s colleagues is implicated, Alex questions whether or not he knows his team as well as he should. Is the killer someone from the group’s past or does the answer lie closer to home?
The Author:
I'm a short, tattooed author, who loves cats, rock music, tea and cardigans. I live in the South West of Scotland with my family, having moved up from the Midlands a few years ago so I could pursue my dreams of becoming a best-selling crime writer (still working on that!). I'm the creator of the D.I. Alex Peachey series, which are contemporary, character-led police procedurals set in and around Wolverhampton. I'm currently working on the third in the series, and am also tinkering with a couple of standalones, one set in Scotland and the other in various places around the UK (and possibly abroad).
When I'm not writing I can usually be found at crime writing festivals, buying yet more books. Former jobs have included working with male strippers and drag artistes, and as an Oompa Loompa in a chocolate factory.

Book Title: Not Going To Plan
Genre: Young Adult
Format: Paperback (First Edition)
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: Worldwide
The Book:
A powerful verse novel about sexual consent, unplanned pregnancy and the breaking of taboos.
MARNIE'S REALLY MESSED UP THIS TIME.
Expelled and forced to change schools, the only empty seat in Marnie's new school is next to Zed, a nerd with zero tolerance for mistakes. Marnie (skilled at art and Spanish, struggles with numbers) can't wait to lose her virginity. Zed (brilliant at maths and physics, loathes languages) is a loner who can't stand being touched. They couldn't be less alike, but they both need good grades in the subjects they hate.
What starts as a trade in tuition turns into an unlikely friendship - and after Marnie has sex with a boy who lies about using a condom, she needs Zed's help to make the hardest decision of her life.
Author:
Tia Fisher writes books for the rebel teen trapped inside her. She spent her adolescence desperate to escape the confines of a tiny Norfolk village, reading indiscriminately through the shelves of the library where her mum worked; pouring out poems of unrequited love (which she kept private) and protest (which she pinned to the school noticeboard).
Back then, her poems got her expelled, but fast-forward 45 years and Tia's debut verse novel for teens, Crossing the Line, earned plaudits: the 2024 Yoto Carnegie Shadowers' Choice Medal, the UKLA 11-14+ prize, and a place in the 2024 Reading for Empathy collection.
Tia has just published her second verse novel, Not Going to Plan (2025, also with Hot Key Books) and in 2026, Piccadilly Press will publish Tia's historical prose middle-grade story, Operation Doodlebug.

Title: Murders at The Black Abbey Towers (publication date 28th October)
Genre: Cosy Mystery
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
Welcome to Black Abbey Towers... where murder is just the opening act.
Halloween, 1899: a satanic aristocrat, a missing village girl, and a fire that scorches Black Abbey Towers into legend.
Present day: The haunted abbey has been requisitioned as a film set and the cast is dying to be involved.
Retired NCA advisor-turned-hitwoman Dottie Barker is posing as a stunt expert while secretly bumping off local criminals vigilante style. The "Quirky Quintet"— four fearless WI ladies and their eccentric plus-one—have been cast as extras, but their talent for stumbling into murder investigations proves harder to contain than their cackling.
As suspicious deaths mount, an ancient diorama predicts the murders before they happen, and the legend of the "Death Collector" comes chillingly to life. Someone is playing a deadly game in the sinister chambers beneath the abbey, and only a gun-toting pensioner and a ghostly girl can stop it.
But secrets buried in blood have a habit of rising, and for Dottie, the final twist might just break her heart...
The Author:
Gina was born in the late 1950’s to a mum who frequently abandoned her in a pram outside Woolworths and a dad who after two pints of beer could play a mean Boogie Woogie on the piano in the front room of their 3-bed semi on the Wirral. Being the less adventurous of three children, she remains there to this day - apart from a long weekend in Bognor Regis in 1982.
Her teenage years were filled with angst, a CSE in Arithmetic, raging pimples and Barry White. Marriage and motherhood ensued, followed by divorce in her early thirties and a desperate need for a career and some form of financial support for herself and her young daughter. Trundling a three-wheeled trike along a leafy path one wintry day, memories of her favourite author Enid Blyton, ginger beer and solving mysteries along with her lifelong passion to be a police officer, excitedly gave way to an epiphany. And thus began an enjoyable and fulfilling career with Merseyside Police.
On reaching an age most women lie about, she quickly adapted to retirement by utilising her policing skills to chase after two granddaughters, two dogs and one previously used, but still in excellent condition, husband. Having said goodbye to what had been a huge part of her life, she suddenly had another epiphany. This time it was to put pen to paper to write a book based on her experiences as a police officer. This led to her signing first with Urbane Publications and more recently, Bloodhound Books for her second series of cosy murder mystery books following the Winterbottom Women’s Institute ladies.

Book Title: Evil Never Dies
Book Genre: Supernatural Crime
Format: Paperback
Dedication available: Yes
Postage: UK only.
Book Blurb::
The village of Slyford St James is no stranger to supernatural happenings, as long-time residents Jed and Emma know all too well. When Jed receives a letter from an old friend, he is intrigued. Though he and Simon were like brothers during their army days, they have lost touch over the years. However, the invitation to the Pomeroy family estate isn't quite the reunion he was hoping for - Simon's eldest brother has been brutally murdered, and he wants Jed to use his connection to the dead to help solve the crime.
When they arrive at the estate, Jed is shocked by how fragile and fearful his friend has become. As Jed calls upon the spirit world, the results are dramatic, and a gruesome warning reveals dark and dangerous family secrets that threaten them
Author Bio:
S M Hardy is the pen name for the supernatural/horror works of the fantasy author Sue Tingey. Born in South London Sue now lives in Torquay with her husband. She spent twenty-eight years working for a major bank and, after taking voluntary redundancy in 2001, spent another fourteen or so years working as a practice manager for an arboricultural consultancy. She has now given up the day job to allegedly spend more time with her husband; he however has noticed that an awful lot more writing appears to be going on.

The Book:
Just because the most dangerous criminals in society are caught and locked up, doesn’t mean they stop committing crime.
That’s where Kennedy Allardyce comes in – monitoring not just the prisoners, but also the staff.
And she’s just stumbled across her most dangerous foe yet – rumours of a corrupt guard with lethal influence. And what’s worst, it seems they’ve already realised Kennedy is on their tail.
At least one thing is giving her joy – a blossoming relationship with Molly, a beautiful, enigmatic new guard.
Wouldn’t it be awful if the killer she’s hunting turned out to be the woman she’s falling for?
Described as Line of Duty meets Orange is the New Black;
Five by Five won the inaugural Penguin Michael Joseph Undiscovered Writers Prize and is based on the author’s experience working in a Scottish Prison.
‘Raw, brutal, claustrophobic, fast and impossible to put down. Written by someone who's walked the walk and seen the prison system close up’ Neil Lancaster, bestselling author of Dead Man’s Grave
‘Grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go’ Professor David Wilson, leading criminologist and author of My Life with Murderers
‘Gritty and unflinching, unbearably tense and claustrophobic, it gripped me throughout. Claire’s professional expertise shines through and gives such authenticity to the story’ Natalie Chandler, author of What We Did
The Author:
Claire is from Falkirk, Scotland. Five by Five is based on her day job as an intelligence analyst in a Scottish Prison. She said: “I’ve always been taught to write what you know and I’m using my knowledge of the prison service to bring to life a unique crime setting and a heartbreaking dilemma. I can’t wait to welcome you into the depths of HMP Forth Valley.”

Book Title: The Key To The Island House
Genre: Historical Fiction - Romance
Format: Paperback
Signed: Yes, dedication is available
Bids accepted: UK only
The Book:
As I turn the rusted key in the worn lock, I know the secrets beyond these faded walls might change my life forever… Can I breathe new life into the dusty corridors that my beloved aunt once walked?
The only things Sophie has left after losing both her aunt and her husband-to-be are a key and an old photograph of a beautiful house on an island in Cairo. All Aunt Nadia ever said about the place was that it saved her during the war. And now it belongs to Sophie.
Now standing in front of the door, the bright paint peeling, Sophie hopes that solving the mysteries of her aunt’s past will heal her broken heart. Until she finds a note in her aunt’s handwriting, tucked away in the villa’s library. And it leaves her questioning everything. The torn, yellowed paper speaks of a wartime betrayal and a long-lost love.
Sophie had dismissed her fiancé’s hurried scrawl on the back of the faded black and white photograph. But clutching the two fragments of the past in her hands, it’s clear her husband-to-be knew this terrible family secret all along…
Will the truth from the war tear Sophie apart, just as it did her aunt? Or will facing her aunt’s secret help heal not just her own heartbreak, but also one from decades ago?
The Author:
Amanda was born in Hong Kong and survived both a convent boarding school and a Jesuit boys’ school before being summarily ejected from the latter. She gets her thirst for adventure from her parents who met in the jungle in Borneo where her mother had set up a hospital and her father, a former Gurkha Intelligence officer and Oxford-educated spy, was probably up to no good.
Amanda has a degree in drama and her first TV job was as a member of the Communist Resistance in ’Allo ‘Allo. This involved running around with a dachshund under her arm and deploying her best cod French accent. It has all been dramatically downhill since.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
