It remains a mystery as to why there should have been such a flowering of exceptionally gifted artists working in watercolour in Britain between 1770 and 1850. Names with which to conjure in this period include Thomas Gainsborough, Edward Dayes, Richard Parkes Bonington, JMW Turner and William Callow. Another of these originals was Francis Towne (1739-1816).
Mysteriously, given his highly original and distinctive style, Towne almost disappeared from the canon of British watercolourists for a century, until rediscovered by the connoisseur Paul Oppé in the early decades of the Twentieth Century. Each person will receive a delivery of a JING One Cup Tea-iere™, Glass Sand Timer and a Classic Tea Explorer Set in advance of the tasting, which will take place over Zoom and last for 60 minutes.

This prize is only available to people who live in the UK.
Bookable Monday-Friday 11am-6pm and Saturday 11am-5pm on the hour, but not available on Sundays or public / bank holidays.
Additional teaware is required for the tasting, such as a kettle, tasting cups or mugs and a water jug or something to discard liquid in.
