Brandyn will take you on a trip down memory lane with his authentic recreation of an early 1940’s radio broadcast. Listen to the hits of the day - and the birth of popular music - with Brandyn’s vocal tributes to Al Bowlly, Val Rosing, J. Pat O'Malley, Sam Browne and many more.
 
There are a few funny surprises along the way, as Brandyn announces the original period adverts and listeners’ replies to the weekly competitions.
A 1940s ‘radio’ show not to be missed!
 
Brandyn Shaw is widely acclaimed as one of the country’s most authentic vintage entertainers. He has most notably appeared on the BBC’s Len Goodman’s Dance Band Days, and numerous BBC radio programmes, providing historical information and re-enacting one of the greatest crooners of the period - Al Bowlly. Recently, he appeared in Channel 5’s ‘The World’s Greatest Hotels – The Dorchester’, where he led His ‘Radio Rhythm Makers’ dance band, to re-enact one of Jack Jackson’s hits from 1934, ‘Faint Harmony’.
Included in the price of the ticket is a Fish n Chips Supper!
